Library News

Did you know we had a book: Where To Find It In The Bible? They call it the “Ultimate A-Z Resource covering 3,700 Contemporary Topics, by Ken Anderson. Wow, it addresses sooooo many things, for instance, Conformity (following the wrong of others, with Christ). How about dishwashing...yes...dishwashing! Immortality, management, persecution and pessimism. How about sand...students(!),... study(!)...and tenacity? He references unisex, unison and utilities. Weariness, weather, and weeds. Ha ha. There are serious topics like wisdom, witness, women’s rights, and my greatest sin of worry. I probably need to really take heed to these references! Youth, you are not left out of this book... Youth referrals in this book would take up an entire page! I would never have enough time to just finger through the Bible and with this book in my hand, but it would be a good thing to try. There are so many things that I can apply to myself! The next book I found interesting is: Granny Brand, Her Story by Dorothy Clark Wilson (who also wrote Ten Fingers for God) is about a missionary to the mountains of India. She was once the Belle of every ball in London, one of nine beautiful daughters of aristocratic parents. What possessed her to give all of this up and go with her husband into the mission fields? You will have to read it to find out.
